As of June 9th, 2010 Monty Olson and I recently got all of the 2010 Boone County Fair Sponsor Signs hung up. The sponsor signs are hung up on the south side of the grand stands located on the Boone County Fairgrounds in Albion, Nebraska. Memorial Weekend

If you are in Albion this weekend be sure to stop at the fairgrounds, Beef and Sheep/Goat Show in the livestock barns at the fairgrounds plus a "Mini" Bull ride on Sunday. The new speaker system will be used this weekend in the livestock barns and in the grandstand Friday night for the races. Chuck Rolf

Mike M has been busy working at the fairgrounds hanging sponsor signs. Fairview Lanes, Simply Cellular, Cornerstone Bank & Insurance Group, Green Line Equipment, AgVenture, and 106 Kix Country are up.

He also helped Out of the Blue Entertainment install the new sound system for the grandstands, which sounds great.

Mowing

Dan Z. is keeping the fairgrounds looking great with spring mowing duties. With all the events we have scheduled this summer, Dan has his work cut out for him.

This summer he will be working on the Petting Zoo building along with possibly painting the west livestock barn - if time and weather allows.

Walnut or Cedar Trees

Over the next two weeks, May 17th thru May 21 and May 24 thru May 28th, Fun Books and carnival tickets are available at the fairboard office from 5pm to 7pm.

Fun Books and carnival tickets are also available from fair board members.
